Traição romântica

Admito que estou chegando no limite da petulância. Trair Byron pode me trazer alguns desafetos. Mas a traição é um vício difícil de curar:

Anda à noite a sua beleza
Límpida, lépida e brilhante
No melhor das trevas acesa
Reflexo do olhar radiante
Aquecer o céu tal pureza
Que a aurora prefere distante.

Seja mais sombra, menos luz
Algo velava aquele encanto
Qual onda nas trevas reluz
Do seu olhar fez recanto
Que doces memórias conduz
Ao lar, querido e sacrossanto

Naquela face, só seus olhos
Eloquentes em meio à calma
Vencem o riso, somem abrolhos
Triste dia na mão se espalma
Em paz removem tais escolhos
Descansa inocente minh´alma

Tudo bem, você prefere o original, aí vai :

She walks in beauty

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.
And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

Juliana disse…
Bonito, bonito. Essa alternância entre as insanidades e o romantismo está virando sua marca registrada.

Ou será que o romantismo é apenas mais uma insanidade?
